Tenant Duty Counsel

The Tenant Duty Counsel Program (TDCP) is a program administered by the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario (ACTO).  ACTO is a specialty community legal clinic with a provincial mandate to advance and protect the interests of low-income tenants across Ontario.

TDCP staff, two of whom work for the Chatham-Kent Legal Clinic, are legal professionals who provide advice, legal assistance, resources and referrals to unrepresented tenants on or before the day of their scheduled hearing at the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB).  Priority is given to tenants facing eviction.  Call the legal clinic for Tenant Duty Counsel assistance.
